Yet another page from drunkendragon's bedtime storybook. Looks like it's about bed time, in fact.

Maybe if I do enough of these pages, eventually I should have an entire storybook (Mr. Hazard assured me it was okay to post here).

essential factor would be to recite your vows from the heart Watches Box Chanel Box . , and live them all throuh your marriage. All of the greatest! ???In days past (way past, Cartier Rond Louis that s!)dress patterns, it s stated that brides wore a veil to conceal her identity from the groom. This was simply because marriages had been frequently arranged in between the fathers of the bride and groom or by a wedding matchmaker, and also the bride was delivered towards the ceremony hidden by the veil. The groom was not allowed to unveil his bride until the two had been husband and wife. Fake Watches . These days Fake Breitling Watches . , nevertheless, the veil carries other significance. In some religions it s worn as a symbol of purity, and when a father lifts the blusher from the bride s face, he symbolically 8220 gives his daughter towards the groom. Ahhh, yes. Who else but you would so eloquently capture the fashionable beauty of the classic queens.
Your use of these marvelous mademoiselles as modern day muses always flabbergasts me. (wow, I didn't think I even knew how to spell flabbergasts...)
It's nice to see from where your inspiration is drawn, too - pun intended. And am glad to see that these princesses of the pinup still have what it takes to do said inspiring.
I look forward, as always, to seeing what's next in your awesome arsenal of artistry.
(there, that's 3 separate instances of alliteration. I'm starting to sound like Oswald Cobblepot...)
Keep up the great work co_04.

Quite sexy and beautifully detailed. I love the book illustration style and especially the dragon's expression!

Fixed the jaw line a bit...She may look a little Lily-ish because of the makeup, but she makes me think more of that famous Rita Hayworth pic.

And you're right, I should get back to work on the Calendar Girls.

BTW...one thing I forgot to mention: She DOES resemble Yvonne de Carlo's "Lily Munster"...or is it just Her facial expression?

Ahhhhhh....the end of the day. (and the beginning of Nighttime activities)

Thanks for including me again, co! I think you captured the Dragon's (my) expression perfectly. Eyes rolling back, tongue hanging out in drooling motion, head on lap almost purring...
(I'd comment on Mal's expresson, but Wolf summed it up better than I could, so ditto him.)

The Dragon (I) look sooooo happy and content...were it only so relaxing in real life.

And I believe you were assured correctly that this is regular gallery appropriate. I believe, however, that it would not have been so, if the Dragon (I) were a little less...how shall I put this, Horny.

My only possible comment would stem from my absence from figure drawing for such a long time. So it's strictly a pose issue, and I'd have to get a model to know for sure, but Mal's jawline seems a tad low.
It might just be me, as I know the neck and face
are not symmetrical, especially in turned and slanted poses. And it could be the fact that she is sans headgear, too.
Regardless, she is beautifully done. And the skin tones are amazing for a non-traditional shade of female. In other words, Dam she's hot!
Oh, yeah, and the textures, the lighting, the fire glow ambiently illuminating the characters, the expressions, the details down to the tiniest of the scales on the Dragon, even the shading and reflections on the individual segment seams of Mal's headpiece...I could go on and on. But I would strain myself trying to come up with something more to say than "Oh, my!"

I'll buy an advance copy of the bedtime story book in hopes that you continue this incredible series, too!
This is probably the most overwritten comment in your pieces, but I'm gonna write it again anyway...
AWESOME JOB!

Was Mally ever seen without her headpiece? I had to re-imagine what her hair was like without it.

 Re: Maleficent Mellows Out
( slaps chest..."COME ON! START BEATING!!! OH, THERE IT GOES..." )

Damn, co_04...I hope this ain't the end of the series!

OK...The way the firelight reflects against the firebricks is really well thought out...took some time on this one, eh? The seductive look on Her face...the dragon's "smirk"...the way the raven is holdingt His 'pose'...quite touching. I also like the way that the mantel is carved...traditionaly, these are carved in a motif that reflects the architect's design for the room, or the theme of the room itself ( read that somewhere on the Internet )

The way the light is shadowing half of Maleficent's face is a really nice touch...enhances' that look on Her face mentioned earlier. I also like the way part of Her headgear covers part of Her buttocks...keeps the picture in the 'PG--PG-13' range; for posting in this gallery.

Hopefully, this is NOT the end of this series...I'm also looking forwards to you "Calendar Girls" finale..it sould be one righteous piece of work!

Anoter ten on the way...
