Fanart of Chun Li from Street Fighter. I ignored the stocking thing. It just doesn't make sense to wear stockings/pantyhose for her. It offers no protection and extreme movements like hers would just tear those up really quick. The unitard from Alpha makes more sense.

I think it's hard to beat the classic design in terms of having an iconic look and indicate that she is "China's representative" in the Street Fighter universe. I like the leotard bodysuit for its practicality, but it also meant we couldn't see those legs which she is famous for (or infamously exaggerated in so many depictions).

Ah, old school indeed! This was always her best design, wasn't it? Though I'm partial to the SF Alpha version too. Nice work too.
