Re: Gemma Atkinson as Powergirl I've always thought Gemma had the PERFECT look for Powergirl, so I'm so glad you've done a picture that lives up to all of that potential! Absoloutely beautiful!

Re: Gemma Atkinson as Powergirl Still I think this combination works here, can be just as effective as painting the whole thing. Just a matter of getting it all to blend right is all. The cape still looks fine here, just wasn't blending with the rest here. But this is my opinion. I say run with it here, I use all three ways when I manip here, paint, dodge burn with greys, and real models (real life). Just something I like. So definatley would love to see more from you here!

Re: Gemma Atkinson as Powergirl I want to point out that this is by no means my first painting - just a first attempt at combining a painting with "real" body parts, Heromorph-style. I'm indeed not entirely sure this combination really works - it might have made more sense to put in the extra couple of hours, and paint the rest of the body (though it's quetionable I could have gotten the face right). Re the cape: yeah, I need to fix it. Instead of working with greys (colorizing when done with the shading), I worked on it in red, which made it much harder to get right. On my "to do" list!

Re: Gemma Atkinson as Powergirl I would have to agree on the overall shading of the image here. As far as that goes. And maybe some improvment to the cape. I like it, just doesn't look like I guess if you'd say a more real cape to me. And the model superb and excellent choice, I have used her for powergirl my self here. And would love to go back also. But for your first work, very well done. Keep them coming.

Re: Gemma Atkinson as Powergirl This is very well done. The overall shading does not quite matching the photo, but the details are sharp and believable.

Re: Gemma Atkinson as Powergirl Did you say 1st attempt? Zoinks! Ok, I'll critique: Let's see, first off, the umm... well, yeah, but the.... and that other thing over there should be... But then there's the one thing there, too... R U Kiddin'? This is superb. Perfect model pick. Great pose. Excellent costuming. If this indeed is your first, then the only critique is that you haven't done more! Gemma...yummmm....
