Well here is my Catwoman, This manip has was about 90% done and I almost scrapped it. Glad I went back to it.
Anyway, It is now finished, I am fairly proud of this one.
I shrunk this one down to save on the bandwidth here. The original is Huge, you can find it here:

personally I liked the purple with the hair hanging out. I think it's the goggles that turn me off from this.

Good work, just one comment: don't you think her head is a little small?

BTW: I have another technique to do leather texture.

1. In the google I look for a leather texture pic.
2. I make a new pattern with that texture.
3. In my project I make a new layer and filled with the leather texture.
4. I select all the element I want to have the texture (let's say a cape), and choose copy, then I make a new channel and paste the element (so you can use it later if you want), later I make a new document (named texture) and paste again the element (and save it turning off the backgroung layer).
5. Displace the layer you filled with the leather texture using the new document you did (texture).
6. After doing the displace, select the element or cape you did and make a new layer via copy,(Now you must have the texture with the form of the cape you did).
7. Desaturate the layer texture.
8. Put the layer texture above your original element and put the layer in overlay (It works must of the times), or play until you have the results you want.

I hope I make myself clear

 Re: Catwoman By Winterhawk
a few people have asked me about the "leather technique" I have been using on this picture and the black canary one.

I do my normal costuming and seem work first. I merge all of the layers into one layer. I duplicate this layer and run the noise filter on it, for the catwoman picture I had it set at about 3.5. I then used a large fuzzy brush to erase the sections of the noise layer near area's I thought would be pulled tight (this was based on my old leather jacket that doesn't fit any more, the areas that are pulled tight didn't have a visible texture on them). I then set the noise layer to 85% opacity. I then duplicated the noise layer and ran the craquelure filter on it, I played around with the setting quite a bit but I think I had them set at about 15,6, & 9. I then turn the opacity to this third layer down to about 13%. I again went back to the original costume layer and duplicated it again and ran the noise filter on it with the setting of about 2 and set the opacity to around 8%.
That????????s about it.
Thanks again for the critiques.

I am going on record as saying I commented on this with Hawk in the Shout Box, and I don't feel like writing it all out again!

I feel I cannot be unbiased in my appreciation of this, considerning my use of Paris elsewhere. So I like it and .

great job 'hawk. I knew this was going to be a cool piece. The leather work is tight.
Although I think Paris will never forgive you for putting her in so much clothing.

p.s. where's the pineapple? Go South Park!!

in the only words that Paris Hilton knows... "That is hot"

Great work on the costume... looks very nice... and the goggles... Very nice... and uh... where is Batman... (Shoutbox inside joke)
And all the rest of the image makes it... the buildings... the cash... yup... very Catwoman!

Her head looks a little odd... I can't put my finger on it...

But other than that silly little comment... Great JOB!!!!

I have already put it in my WinterHawk folder.
