OK, I'm taking each log in to Heromorph to heart.  With each visit I learn something new and try out each style and tip that I've read about.  I'm going to try to stay away from trying to manip any other character other than Supergirl.  I figure if I can perfect this then I will move on to another.

The difference with this piece is that I had actually taken the time to create it.  I'm usually rushing these things and keeping them to 2 hours or less.  This particular one took me 2 hours a day for the past 3 days.  EEEK!

Please let me know what you think.  Good and bad, any critique is helpful.

Going to have to go with the masses about the texture on the top, but this has tight, clean edges, great shadowing. to me something looks off where her arms meet her chest ( maybe the texture, but maybe the shadows need to be sharper or darker, not sure what it is exactly

I like this a lot, however, I think the texture is off on the uniform. The symbol is good but it needs depths and shadows that the outfit, and of the light that is already there. I would clean up the base model first to start with. Other than that good work keep it up!

Excellent job I am gonna have to agree with the divine buttmunkey tho, the texture on the shirt kills it for me.

Yep, I did get lazy on that part (texture). I have taken the extra steps last night just after posting this to use the "Liquify" tool to add the curves to the texture. Unfortunately it's a minor adjustment, therefore I can't repost it.

It's all good though. Thanks for commenting.

Well, this is a fine looking Supergirl. It's always worth taking some extra time with manips. The boots looks fantastic.
The only thing I'm not so fond of, is the texture on her top. It 'flattens' the pic a bit, since it doesn't follow the curves of her body.

I like how you kept the texture of the costume constant with the 'feel' of the face. (Noise level, texture, scan quality)

The addition of the unitard under the costume adds to it a believability of the real world. There is not always strategically placed hair or plants in the way (the god, or Chuck Norris) in the real world.

Oh just to add, I based this costume on the "possibility" of them creating a Supergirl movie using the current Brian Singer version of the costume.

Also I just remembered her name. It's Marisa Miller the Sports Illustrated Cover Model for this year. I used her for my last manip.
