In one of those old Pink Panther movies, Inspector Clouseau's boss is about to get out of the insane asylum (Clouseau, of course, drove him nuts, thereby mandating his committment)
So Clouseau goes to visit him in the nuthouse on the eve of release. We'll through various screw-ups Clouseau manages to drive him to the brink of insanity yet again, yet the Boss doggedly resists going crackers.
Unfortunately, at that point, one of the other nuts shoots him in the forehead with a sticky arrow and that proves to be the final straw pushing him over the edge.
It quickly cuts to the next scene where Clouseau is chasing after a car driven away from the booby hatch by his assistant. As Clouseau implores his deputy "Francoise, start the car, start the car."(though the car is actually already driving away??), the Boss is hot on the heels of Clouseau screaming "Kill!! Kill!! Kill!!"
