Re: Red Sonja First, I'm in firm agreement with JR that it's great to see you back! Your admirable manipping skills remain intact... a very colorful image with strong elements. Well done! The conversation in comments over Marvel's Red Sonja vs. R.E.Howard's is quite interesting. Had to check it out for myself... for those interested in what Howard's original version of Sonja was like, Project Gutenberg of Australia has it posted online for free: The Shadow of the Vulture

Re: Red Sonja Although you are correct that Robert E. Howard did write that story with a character named "Red Sonja" is bares little relation to Marvel's version of the character. She used guns if I recall and was more like Solomon Kane (on a side note I do recommend the Solomon Kane movie).

Re: Red Sonja First off... welcome back to HM! (At least I don't think I have missed any of your recent work here... but maybe I did.) Your work has been missed. It is great to see some quality Manipulations being posted! And you are top of the list of manipers! This is greatness. I love how she is holding the serpent by the tongue. Nice touch!!!

Re: Red Sonja Very nice picture.
BTW, Red Sonja is actually a creation of R.E. HOWARD : it is the main caracter of the short story "the shadow of the vulture". But it is true that she has no connection to the conan serie. Her transposition to the hyperborean ages is a pure marvel invention.

Re: Red Sonja Thanks for the praise!
This image is made from all royalty free stock images so I don't know the model's name.
