Re: Miles Morales is...Spiderman! Miles is the new ULTIMATE Spider-Man, DD. He's an alternate universe version, Peter Parker is still the main Marvel Universe Spider-Man. Nothing to get up in arms over.  And while I have issues with the decision to kill off Ultimate Peter Parker in the first place, I do think making his replacement half-black and half-latino is pretty cool. |

Man,if this is what the new comic guys have planned for Spiderman where do I click on the unlike defriend buttoms.
I'm not a bigot at all but to change an Icon that radically is just beyond me.
I may have given up comic several years ago but I still drop into the local stores to see what Spiderman and a few other are up to.
Now that has just came off of my list of things to do on Saturday afternoon.
BTW nothing against your art piece it is good even if I figure the subject is wrong and that is not your fault.

Re: Miles Morales is...Spiderman! Yeah, this is really nice work. Probably your best. I'd argue he's a bit too muscular for the age/body-type Miles is depicted as, but that's a minor nitpick even by my standards.

Aside from that compliment, I do have a suggestion on this piece. To me, there seems to be too much lighting, I would add some shadows to him maybe coming from his right. It seems you've got a little bit of a white outline on the arms too.. kind of subtle, yet noticeable.
