Re: Silver Sable Finally I use the burn tool at 1 pixel size to outline any areas than need defining. Mostly on this pic I put in some lines to seperate the breast on the right from the arm it overlaps. Likewise for the areas where the legs cross each other. After that I do most of the stuff you see on BA's Tutorial, Blurring smooth and adding highlights and shadows where nessassary.

Re: Silver Sable Oh this is the point where I admit the pile of cash was just a multiply copied and Transformed .gif that I put there to block out these totally anoying sandles that I couldn't get to look like boots. I'd wanted to incorporate Money into the pic anyway since SS is a merc, and this was an easy Shortcut to spending a lot more time on those boots.

Re: Silver Sable Thanks again for the compliments. The base pic was from Deathscan series 078_Death_HS@Pam_Anderson_01. The rooftop was just photoshop concret pattern stamp, and the city skyline was just a pic a nabbed off google image search. as for the white: For the base costume-I used the following: desaturate the layer, then adjust brightness/contrast up to get as nice a look as you can. Then I duplicate the layer and (making sure the duplicate layer is over top of the orginal) change it's blending properties from Normal to Overlay. For the crosspeice of the coustume I used BA's desaturate Paint ONCE (normally twice but with white once is enough) with 30% opacity White brush, then adjust Brightness/contrast. For the hair I just desaturated, then used Levels to lighten up the dark and midrange. (Using brightness/contrast just turned the whole mass waaaaay to white) Whew! Longest post from me EVER I think.

Re: Silver Sable Fantastic. My chin is on the floor man. great job. I find working with white very difficult in my stuff it always turns out very flat looking. so I am in awe of this work, YOU DID A GREAT JOB. fantastic. A beer for you how do you do it. please let me know. since i am new to photomanipulations i have not learned many of the technique's yet how do you get your whites. the last time i tried for a white costume i use the method in Black Alchemy's tutorial and it turn out as a dark grey and I could never get it right playing with the brightness. anyway, HINTS PLEASE!!!
