Re: Spidergirl- "Back in Black" Issue cover #77 Thanx for all the cool words, guys. I have been out of commission for a while, but I will be returning very soon.(Return of the Jedi?)LOL. Most of my work is displayed here at HM, but I am gonna be working on some all new stuff in the next few weeks. I have recently had a mid-life crisis, and I had to regain my composure. But, I will swing my lightsaber again very soon. Glad to see all my favorite folks still crankin' the pix out! GREAT WORK fellas! May the Force be with you! 10-1-05

Re: Spidergirl- "Back in Black" Issue cover #77 Successfully working in the chiaroscuro style (hard black and white) is not an easy accomplishment; whether creating an original work, or laboring to recreate and study an effect in an admired pre-existing piece.
Actually, I like your version better, the proportions are more realistic, and I prefer the less metallic look of the Spider-symbol. You????????re version has a few splashes of tint and it works nicely.
I????????d rank this among the top 10 of my favorites of your work, along with the Supergirl reverse version of this base pic??????? oh yeah and Phoenix, and the Human Torch, and Powergirl, and Wonde???????
If I may borrow a few apt words from StarChild: Shiney buttocks, mmmmmmmmm

Re: Spidergirl- "Back in Black" Issue cover #77 I've seen the actual cover and this is an almost perfect copy the only thing I think needs work is the spider symbol in the original it looked metalic...but still a excellent rendition.
