I love the cape! Great idea on how to make it!

Yes. The cape effect is very eye-friendly. As is the rest, I might add. Well done and a beer for you!

This is very well done. I like the cape and the way it melds into the background.

I like how the cape is mixed into the background. Giving it kind of a SPAWN feel.

 Re: The Goblin Queen
No mix up on the brothers, it's one of those crazy alternate reality things that the xmen are so fond of. It's actually quite a good one. You can read about it here

I think the cape looks spectacular, it's got a 'spawnlike' living quality to it and the texture looks wonderful. You've captured Maddy very well.

 Re: The Goblin Queen
The cape was actually a picture of water ripples that I messed around with to get the right look.

 Re: The Goblin Queen
quick profile about character and pic:

Real Name: Madelyne Pryor-Summers
Affiliation: The Six
Relatives: Sinister (creator), Alex Summers (Havok, husband), Scott Charles Summmers (son), Scott Summers (Cyclops brother-in-law)
Aliases: Beyonder II, Marvel Woman
Status: Unknown, presumed deceased
Powers: Originally, Madelyne had no powers, and simply bore an uncanny resemblance to the "deceased" X-Man Jean Grey (Ariel, who recently resurfaced). Havok met her when he went to Alaska to dispose of his grandmother's estate. The two immediately became friends, and soon fell in love. Certainly the fact that Madelyne looked like Alex's deceased teammate and girlfriend Jean contributed to their fascination with each other, but true feelings also blossomed, and the two were married soon after Alex split from the X-Men to form X-Factor. Although she had no powers, Maddie quickly became the heart and soul of the team. She also gave birth to a son, Scott, rounding out X-Factor's "family." All was not peachy, though, when Alex started an affair with Susan Richards of the Fantastic Four. Upset and depressed, Maddie became close with Ice-Man, but though their relationship stayed platonic, Alex was jealous when his affair ended, enough to blow up Bob's healing chamber and turn Hank McCoy into the Brute. Then, during Inferno, Maddie was apparently forced to deal with S'ym and N'astrih in order to save Scotty, whom they had kidnapped. As a result, she saved her son and the entire planet, and also activated a heretofore unknown power of telekinesis. She was the key to stopping Inferno, but that, and her son's life, may have come at a great cost. Maddie acted as co-leader of the Six, but has been corrupted into the Goblin Queen by an unknown evil force. She controlled The Fallen, and killed the Green Goblin and a clone of Man-Spider, framing it on her teammate, Brute. Then she restored the Brute's intellect and forced him to request his own execution. After his death, Maddie somehow resurrected the Brute, who was now completely under her control. Finally, she attacked and possessed the remainder of the Six, even curing Ice-Man of his hyper-frozen state. She then attacked the Fantastic Four, put Johnny Storm and Susan Richards under her thrall, and convinced Reed Richards to join her. When Ben Grimm tried to stop her, she blasted him out the window. Armed with her five teammates and three of the FF, took control of the Sentinels by possessing their contoller, Larry Trask, and used them to destroy the Avnegers and take over NYC. In Washington D.C., Maddie killed President Starr and then took control of now-President Kelly. She had him restore S.H.I.E.L.D. restored to government duties, and made a play to control the Nexus of all Realities. She was stopped by Havok, Dr. Strange and the heroes who became the Defenders. After Havok destroyed the Nexus, Maddie cut a deal with Callisto, trading Havok for her people's lives. When Alex was delivered, however, Maddie flash-burned Cal's face, incurring the wrath of the Mole Man. Before she could proceed with eliminating the heroes, Magneto appeared and destroyed the Sentinels. Madelyne escaped, but afterwards it seemed that her evil persona would come and go. She dispatched Bloodstorm to retrieve Scotty, but then sent him to the X-Men with the restored Brute to keep him safe. It was then revealed that Madelyne's deal with N'astirh allowed the "Goblin Force" to possess her, turning her to evil. However, the Goblin Force merely overlaid Madelyne's personality, but did not destroy it, so Madelyne was able to contact Scotty in his dreams. Later, Scotty and Havok entered Madelyne's mind, where first Havok blasted the evil force, and then Scotty destroyed it completely. However, Madelyne vanished as a result.
Much later, the Goblin Force animated the corpse of the Beyonder and returned to menace the Earth, allying with Dracula and killing almost all the world's heroes. Finally the Beyonder attacked Havok and the Six, trying to get to the Nexus of All Realities, which was hidden inside Alex. With the help of the last remaining super-geniuses, Havok confronted the Beyonder and forced him to reveal himself as the Goblin Queen. Inside the Goblin Queen was Madelyne, somehow still alive. Alex told her she would become the next Guardian of the Nexus after he took the Goblin Queen into it. When Alex beat the Goblin Queen, Madelyne was returned to Earth in corporeal form and was reunited with her son Scotty.

 Re: The Goblin Queen
Hmm, guess she used so much material on the cape,
she didn't have enough left for a costume! Really, this is very good. I like the filter you used on the cape.
