 Re: Velocity ur very good @ designing the lines in the costume, creases etc. Very clean and very nice. However, all the noise on her outfit (i assume this was to simulate texture) seems to get her lost with the background. all and all I give it a 7. Dont get me wrong, ur much better than I am. Still, it looks like we BOTH can afford to "Get Better," dont u think?  |

Re: Velocity It's always a challenge trying to make a realistic version of a drawing taht doesn't suck, but you did a great job of it. I have to say, she doesn't look like a total idiot, as I would say every other comic hero would in real life. I only think the green should've been a couple shades darker to offset the yellow.

My only defense is that I was trying to duplicate VL's version as closely as I could. I probably should have asked her to e-mail me the background source, which was a swirly greenish thing as well. It probably works better on her version, since she darkened the green portion of Velocity's suit much more than I did. But all the reference pics I could find showed it to be a much lighter green, such as the little version of issue#1 that I placed in the pic. I may redo this one with some other changes, if I can find time. |

Re: Velocity Very nice and well done here. As well good choice on Model... very nice!! If I had to choose anything I might change, your costume and your background to me seem to mesh too much. The background and costume are good just they share to close of simularities between the noise and she kind of gets lost in there somewhat. But still very good job!
