Yakro, the lizard man . Coming from a civilization of great technological and social advance, in a distant nebula, whose damaged ship falls in the planet Earth,  in pre-historical times and must deal with the earthlings who just start their presence in this planet. Yakro was a creation of Orestes Su?rez Lemus and began his life by  1990, in the comic magazine Pablo, and was one of the few Cuban comic charaters for adults that I could find. Heck, even find this one was a surprise to me? And if you?re wondering, the background is from a farm in Cuba.

I have liked this series. It is really cool to see superheros that exist outside of the USA. Thanks.

Well, I,ve been experimenting since I start doing this, and it's a lot of fun discovering the possibilities on these programs. Of course, I love doing manips, I think that's an addiction now...

The only problem I have with this picture is the background. I think you should have used something prehistoric to better show the era of this character.

Yeah, that is something I don't like either but I'm trying to use a picture from each country for each charater in this series. I realize some of them are not the best choisse for the charather, that happens alot in some of my previous pics for this serie, maybe in the future I'll give it another try without the limitation of the "Country" Background.

Nice OCP. This series is getting better and stranger. I see you've been experimenting with some Photoshop filters. I like the style that you're starting to develop. The only problem I have with this picture is the background. I think you should have used something prehistoric to better show the era of this character. Otherwise, I like it.
