Sleeping under the trees on Yoshino mountain

Torn between two cultures, or maybe greater than the sum of those parts; Ana Ishikawa blazed a path of glory during the "bad girl" period of comics (mid 1990's).  
Seeking to avenge her father's murder at the hands of the Yakuza, Ana was trained by her grandfather to be a warrior and assassin second to none.

Notes: Another character I have been chomping at the bit to do.  In a departure form my usual 3/4 to full body manips I chose a close up to capture the violent harmony of Shi's beauty, grace, and violent edge.  
I chose to keep the models original hair color becaue I felt it blended in better with the background, rather than Shi's jet black.  

The make up choice comes from one of my favorite SHI drawings, which harkens to the color of the Kabuki stage rather than her typical pure white.

I like this close-up. I don't really see anything to nit-pik about. The hair color is fine and the make-up looks good. Nice job on this.
