Inspired by some of the beautiful art here and aided by some of the tutorials I thought I would take a swing at this.

Hopefully you can tell that that is supposed to be Asuka from Neon Genesis Evangelion. Its my first try at photo-manipulation and I'm pretty happy with it. I think it has that slightly realistic effect, where you have to take a secound glance to see if it is fake or not, which is what I was going for (feel free to differ on this point). It was orginaly a picture of a lustly redheaded female model on a washing machine (which explains the weird pose her right arm is in). The plug suit itsn't 100% accurate either, but it's fairly close. I'm especialy happy with the way the 'plugs' turned out.

Any advice and critisims are very welcome as I would like to improve, but I feel like I have hit a wall in terms of what I can do to improve this image.

Thanks for the advice, maybe I'll try blurring it or something to tone down the effect (or maybe decrease the opacity of that layer). Without it the plug suit was looking to um... rubbery to me, kind of like a wet-suit. I was thinking it should be more vinyly, so I added the gloss effect. From the anime it could very well be either, but I though vinyl effect would be more sexy. I'll play around with it some and see what I can get.

As for who the model is, I'm not quite sure actually. Just some image I drug up on XNXX, the original is here.
(not work safe). Probably should of picked a better image (Matting out the hair and some of the background was pretty tricky), but I got tired of looking for appropriate red-heads. The pose could be better as well I guess.

Well, first off-
Welcome To Heromorph!

If you have not read it already, try the S2F Tut.

I would also ease off on the bubble wrap filter, or whatever it's called now. It looks like you are trying to cut corners.

For a first Manip, this is very good. Let's see more!
