This was a pretty easy call for me. Nothing influenced me more to take up the mantle as would-be comic artist other than when I used to watch Flash and Kid Flash speeding across my black and white TV screen. So inspirational was the Flash in my life that the very first comic character I ever created...Mercury...was patterned after the Flash and sported a slightly altered design of Kid Flash. This makes me wish I still had those original mini-comics I made back in the day.
No, those were not the days of greatest detail and craft in animation but your image does take me back to being a kid, waiting for those stories as well! You've really captured the fun and spirit. Good job!
Nice one! I love the semi-campy poses and expressions, too. Very true to the style of those early shows.
For those who don't believe you, here's a pic of the duo from the 1967 cartoon, part of the "Superman/Aquaman HOur of Adventure..." or something like that...
I wanted to be the first to comment just to let everyone know that the costumes you see were by design. This is exactly how Flash and Kid Flash appeared on TV. In fact it wasn't until I actually saw them both in an actual comicbook that I realized the total blunder. Which really made me wonder how DC let something like this happen.
