I don't even buy comics anymore but even I have had it with the ridiculous money-grubbing tactics of the comics industry. I'm sure you've all heard by now of DC Comics plan to retool their entire comic line and start everything at #1. C'mon. Really? Are sales doing so bad that you have to do a 'HAPPY DAYS-jump the shark" tactic to boost interest? How about some fresh ideas? Really..to throw away all the history built up of your entire universe just to make sales. Thank god I don't have to worry about that.

I actually hadn't heard about this.
That is kinda crazy, but not unpresedented.
I wonder if they will do something like they did the last time with world 1 and world 2, but since they tried so hard to fix and reboot after crisis I doubt it.

You [and Helena] said it better than I ever could, StarChild. I fear that this (and all the crap going on at Marvel) is just the comic book industry's last desperate attempt to remain relevant before it fades into obscurity and the only place we'll get to see our favorite heroes anymore will be movies, TV shows and on the web.
