I never understood the whole underwear over the tights thing. It's iconic, but not very sensible.

Yes, the outfit does look much sleeker without the trunks and belt. The absense of a yellow background in the 'S' helps too. Good job bringing the Boy Scout of Steel into the 21st century, PMJ.
