Somehow these back issues keep turning up, vintage 1971-72 or so. I didn't know HM was even in business then, let alone had an imprint. Anyway, this is a combination of themes from Detective Comics #341, where Joker is disguised as Batman, & Harley Quinn #10, where Harley impersonates Batgirl.

Of all the Vee covers done thus far, to me this is the most convincing of that late Silver/early Bronze Age comic style.

So what other titles will turn up from the vaults--"House of VampireLover?" "Dungeons & DragonDack?" WonderWas?" "Jr Chronicles of McDeath?"

???

Not much of an update, just enlarged the type a little and wanted to pair it up with the panel above.

I'm with you, MF. I like the sexy, yet modest look of a bookish woman.

So what ya got for "Thayne the immortal thief"?

Excellent work by the way. It does make me wish I could read it.

Hmm... I vaugely remember that. It's "Batgirl's Bag of Tricks" I believe. I sure don't remember a nude version, though. If you have that please post some in the Cookie

Yet another brilliant cover. Except I believe it illustrates a splash page from Detective Comics where Barb Gordon answers a newspaper add to play "Batgirl" for an airline stewardess who is trying to steal some money (Gil Kane pencils/ Murphy Anderson inks & colors. Murphy later published a nude version). Babs agrees to go to a masquerade ball as "Batgirl" and is attacked by imposters Superman, Flash, & Batman.
