Years ago - in 2006 - there was a challenge held across the land of the internet in which artists dueled in a series of head-to-head battles for supremacy. Many artists entered the fray, a grueling contest of skill and reflexes - but in the end, there could be only one...
But none of that is relevant now. 2006 is the distant past and all that remains of the turmoil of the slugfest is the art itself.
This was my submission for the first round of the challenge. I'm not all that knowledgable on Marvel characters so I at least found it educational having to produce an image involving this bunch.
Overall, I still like how it came up.

Thanks Pij. That contest was a helluva challenge for me to complete an intact picture. I am still really pleased with the result.

HA! Great to see this again! Indeed that "Artists Challenge" was a blast and you certainly rose to the challenge with this one! Perhaps it's a blessing that you were not familiar with the FF as your version is easily the most unique take on this group I've seen. I love the humor of the piece and Sue's earrings are such a cool style point, I'm really surprised something like that (to my knowledge) has never been in the books. It's also an interesting composition and the coloring and FX are quite good too. Cheers!!
