nice work, that looks really good. the custom brush for the hair you used worked awesome. like I said the way I draw hair it can be a real pain to color. I agree with most everyone else her chest looks a bit 2-d, but some of that is just the way I drew it.

I am pretty pleased with my first (real) coloring attempt. it was nice to do something a little different for a change. i will try to answer some of your guys questions. First off I used Photoshop 7.
I don't have a graphics pen or tablet or anything like that, just a mouse. The texture in the hair was not create by filters. No filters here just paint.
the cartoon look was by design. When i was doing it i was trying to go for a more of a animated movie look then a comic book look.
When i did my Medusa picture, i created a custom brush to make hair. I used that brush again here but with the dodge, burn and smudge tools instead of as a paint brush. that is how i did the hair. i agree that the chest area is a little flat. to tell you the truth it never even occured to me to do that. I guess i just overlooked it. (newbee colorist)

The back is a little dark, I have a hard time seeing the building.

I actually just stole the background from a wallpaper of Dawn that Linsner did.

I agree to. Her cape or dress is well rounded but when it comes to her arms, legs and chest it flat. How did you do the hair? The back is a little dark, I have a hard time seeing the building.

you've done a great job on this Winter.
the hair is excellent and it has a good cartoon look to it, whether by accident or design, i don't care. i think it's ace.
now the only gripe i have is that her ample bosoms leave a large, flat, green space, maybe a little shading just to round them off somewhat.

That's pretty cool WH. Ever see "American Pop"? Reminds me of that. Your hightlights really make the artwork come to life.
Do you use a graphic pen? The brushstrokes in her hair have a nice texture, or was it a filter you used?
