DW - That's a great suggestion of adding the Violator! -- I had cooked up several backgrounds, so it was a tough choice... Maybe I'll rework it a little bit... I know Spawn is a "dark side" type of character....

I like but not a big fan of the background it seems a little too bright. personal taste, maybe darker shadows, and a gradiant glow effect to the eyes, and maybe a super impossed image of Violator in the background? but again that is just my personal taste :)

Nice job. Another Webgeek wonder.
although i would have like to see more highlights on the chains to give it a more metallic look.
