This was originally going to be my entry for this draw off, but found that I didn't make a clear enough distinction of the Predator in the background after a chest-buster came out of him which later grew into the Pred-Alien that Wolvie is hacking.  I left it un-done until PA1911 asked if I would do a continuation to my first entry.  

So I added battle wounds then finished this one up and went with a more gritty style. (not really, I was trying to do this at work and keep this from my boss the best I could, so I had to sorta rush it.)

Hope ya'll like. Oh yeh, good thing for office supplies and the endless flow of legal sized paper!

Close to End...

After some intense battle with the Aliens, Wolverine loses track of his fellow combatant in the midst of flying body parts and acid spray. He battles his way down near the hive where he finds the now dead Predator with a gaping hole in its chest. He senses something amiss when out of the shadows and smoke emerges the PRED-Alien. SNIKT-SNIKT out come the claws from each hand... Wolverine takes a fatigued breath and the Pred-Alien hissses as it's Predator-like Mandibles extend.

Aftermath...

Wolverine slowly removes the tail that impaled him. He then realizes that he must eliminate this menace and get to the queen before more Aliens gestate from the remaining hosts. For if he gets captured and becomes host to one of these things... as they take on traits from their hosts... what will become of this new breed of Alien...

...stay tuned.

(ok, I don't think I'll be able to finish another one by tomorrow's deadline. I'll just have to work on it after the contest.) Enjoy.
