Thanks to the kind soul who left the Kill Bill still of Uma Thurman in the cookie jar. It gave me the pose.

I'm sure I read an interview with the chap who wrote the story that introduced Nyssa into Dr Who in which he said he'd visualized Traken akin to feudal Japan rather than the Italianate Renaissance that the designers put on the screen. What might have been!

Ah, yes....Sarah Sutton.

Except for the fact that the placement of the sword makes Her look a little 'wild-eyed'...this is spot on.

Wow. That is really good. Just from the thumbnail, I immediately recognized her as Nyssa. Not exactly a common character around here. This may be the only pic of her on the site, actually. Not much Doctor Who about.

A katana wielding Nyssa would have been interesting. I always liked Leela's aggressive nature, and your style of Nyssa would have been able to pick up where she left off.
