Well, here's my pic for the Halloween challenge:
Kitty Pryde/Shadowcat convinced the rest of the 'Astonishing X-men' to go trick or treat. She also dressed them up as the cast of 'the Wizard of Oz'. Shadowcat is Dorothy, Lockheed is Toto (he ate his costume), Wolverine as (the cowardly) Lion, Cyclops as (the brainless) Scarecrow, Colossus as the Tin-Man, Emma Frost as the Witch and Beast as a flying monkey. No one but Kitty is happy! (Art Notes: I drew the characters on paper; did the background and coloured it in Photoshop.)

Brilliant. My daughter is a huge Wizard of Oz fan, and I am an X-men Fan. So this will probably show up on our desktop for awhile!

Thank you all for the many nice comments!
I tried to focus on their faces, 'cus that's really where the commedy is.
As for the critique: Screw you guys! I'm going home! (just kidding!)
DW: yup. There's some halo-fx. That's just sloppy work on my part.
Force: No, just the movie and an episode of 'that 70's show'. But I wouldn't be suprised if someone has done something similar; the idea didn't strike me as all that original.
B: yeah, you're right. I saw that too, but there had to be a pattern, and I absolutely refuse to do it by hand. Way to lazy for that.
Wolf: Striped candy can be eaten all year. At least in sweden. And I like 'the White Stripes', so...

The wonderful lizard of Oz,
I hear he is a quizz of a Liz,
If ever a liz there was,
If ever a liz there was there was,
The lizard of Oz is one because,
Because because because because,
Because of the wonderful things he does!

And your little dog too!

Bwahahahahahahahahaha!

But, c'mon, Emma, as if you could not be cast as the witch...

Only obvious problem I can see is that the texture of Kitty's dress sort of flattens it out.

Good job DM. Funny and witty. I feel like I've seen this pic before though....I can't put my finger on it, but it looks familar. Did you use something as a reference for this or did you make it up all in your head? In any case, you did a bang up job. Glad to see you entered.
