This took surprisingly little time to set up.  I actually spent more time in Photoshop with this image that I did in Poser.

Predatron's City Streets for the alley
M3 Alligator Coat
T3 Pants (can't remember who did them)
and finally, Punisher texture by me.  Yes, by ME!  My very first personally done texture.  I took a black background, added the Punisher skull from the movie, put in a film grain effect for cloth texture, and a little gausian blur to cover up the fact the the resolution of the skull was much, much smaller than the texture needed to be.  I took lessons from petercotton's bundle on how to pull off an effective bump map to give the illusion of folding cloth, modified a trans map that I have and voila. . .instant Punisher (ok, so not instant.  more like several hours worth of work Punisher, but instant sounded better)

let me know what you think for my first attempt.  I am no longer a texture virgin.

 Re: The Punisher
The face doesn't really say the Punisher to me. Its to young and smooth. Needs some weathering and age lol. Other than that this is a pretty damned nice render. Love the lighting and the texture work is pretty nice as well, escpecially for a first attempt. Better than my first attempt lol.

as a first try, this is actually quite good. blurring the skull does make it less jaggy, but you could also raise the resolution of the skull, or heck, go over the lines of the skull with the line tool. would get rid of the low-res look. but again, this is good. but remember....

once you start...you cant go back! dadaDUMMMM.you'll be texting for years and yearssss....
