I tend to agree on the water not quite right. The water's edge on the backdrop could be softened a bit.

And not wanting to sound too defensive, but...

The 'grid' on the window is actually part of the glass, like an etched image. The center is an arched opening not covered with glass.

The model is from DAZ and is called Taranis. When you look at their image you can see the grid on the glass. Also, you can see I did a major re-arrangement of the elements of that model for this render.

Again thanks for the pointers. We don't learn without input on our efforts.

It's a beautiful pic and I think the high contrast lighting works to great effect for giving it that toon style. I don't think the water outside the window works quite as well though. The texture looks wrong, badly stretched and the object has too hard an edge. Also the window on left has a grid showing. In spite of these minor distractions, the main body of the work looks quite good. Nice job.
