I thought about doing this character with wings, but decided against it in the end.  Pretty much pure 3D here...with some PS postwork.  I know there is a debate on this site, if 3D is better with postwork or without.  I don't fell like an artist at all though, if I let the CPU do all the work :)

When it comes to postwork or not, my opinion is whatever works best on any give day... and this works! Good job!

yeah...wings might have slowed this one down.

Love the way you blurred the feet showing acceleration...without messing with the hands or the spear. Background looks very realistic...nice mix clouds/open sky. Nice cutoff on the 'portrait view'...good job on the expression.

Only nitpic...and it's a small one, too... is not enough of the headband gem showing. Like I said, it's a small one...
