I just got myself Photoshop CS4 and wanted to try new things. Still not happy with the black symbol (star?) on her chest, but I like how the blast effect came out.
This was a character I've been wanting to make since I did my first manip, I hope I had made her justice.

 Re: Photon
OCP, I really like this one.
I love the detail in the white parts and how you left the black parts flat.
I'm guilty of never knowing when to stop, but this is well balanced.
Beautiful, man!

Ficou muito legal esse efeito que voce fez no uniforme e o 'blast effect' foi bem feito.

Parabens, amigo. ? nota 10 pra mim.

 Re: Photon
Good stuff, I like the costume especially around the mask where you have highlights so it fits in with the models face.
An easy & quick way to make the star blend in more is to change the layer blending, e.g color burn etc , mess about with them to see what each one does then also you can change the opacity of the layer, I tend to duplicate the layer I'm working on then hide it that way you can quickly see before & after. You can also add lots of the same image on top with different blends until it looks right to you. I'm no Photoshop master but I hope that might help a bit.

 Re: Photon
I really like this.
It also looks different from your usual style.
My own preference though is a smaller image so I can see the whole thing on screen at once... good work!

 Re: Photon
I think you did do her justice here. The blast effect is very nice here. I would like to see maybe wrinkes and cleaner lines added into the work here. Basically the outfit clean up. But still nice work here. I would give this an 8 over all. Think I will. Hope this was fair here. :) Still lets see more here from ya!
