Ahhhhhh....the end of the day. (and the beginning of Nighttime activities)
Thanks for including me again, co! I think you captured the Dragon's (my) expression perfectly. Eyes rolling back, tongue hanging out in drooling motion, head on lap almost purring...
(I'd comment on Mal's expresson, but Wolf summed it up better than I could, so ditto him.)
The Dragon (I) look sooooo happy and content...were it only so relaxing in real life.
And I believe you were assured correctly that this is regular gallery appropriate. I believe, however, that it would not have been so, if the Dragon (I) were a little less...how shall I put this, Horny.
My only possible comment would stem from my absence from figure drawing for such a long time. So it's strictly a pose issue, and I'd have to get a model to know for sure, but Mal's jawline seems a tad low.
It might just be me, as I know the neck and face
are not symmetrical, especially in turned and slanted poses. And it could be the fact that she is sans headgear, too.
Regardless, she is beautifully done. And the skin tones are amazing for a non-traditional shade of female. In other words, Dam she's hot!
Oh, yeah, and the textures, the lighting, the fire glow ambiently illuminating the characters, the expressions, the details down to the tiniest of the scales on the Dragon, even the shading and reflections on the individual segment seams of Mal's headpiece...I could go on and on. But I would strain myself trying to come up with something more to say than "Oh, my!"
I'll buy an advance copy of the bedtime story book in hopes that you continue this incredible series, too!
This is probably the most overwritten comment in your pieces, but I'm gonna write it again anyway...
AWESOME JOB!
