WOW!
You know what I like about this? (Aside from agreeing that that expression is priceless)
There's not a single inch of this page that you haven't done something with.
I am always amazed when someone can utilize an entire page and maintain incredible composition.
It's easier to center and focus objects and use page edges as a border, but it takes a lot of energy and thought to fit an entire idea into a work like this on a whole page. (Similar to how you filled the area with your battle scene)
http://heromorph.com/heromorph2/modules/myalbum4/photo.php?lid=13668This sketch itself is it's own border, and adds to the whole scene in so being. This one in particular adds to the sense of the damsel being overwhelmed by a creature too big to fit on screen.
It also contributes to the skill used in the focal points of the piece. The edges are jagged, with stalactites and rocks, forcing my eye back towards the dames delicates. Soft as she is, this provides awesome contrast to the claws and scales of her captor.
Really cool work here, Redd!
