THE ROGUE: AN ANALYSIS The rogue is a reluctant hero. Fancying himself a ladies man and often criminally inclined he is usually the one who is dragged into the quest against his will and yet he stays against his better judgment. Not the one to make friends easily his sarcastic wit, thieving ways and look-out-for-number-one attitude tends to grate on the patience of the other members of the quest. Yet, in the course of the quest the rogue will, in the end, find his true worth as a hero and oddly enough becomes the one most likely to perform ?noble sacrifice?. And thus giving his comrades greater resolve to succeed. |
