This is based on an idea a friend of mine had.  He wrote a script for the comic, hired an artist, and asked me to do the colors.  Typical zombie apocalypse story, but the main character was based on his girlfriend at the time.  She loves both zombies and comic books and this was meant to be a gift for her.  Sadly, she ended it with him before the artist (who backed out of the project shortly before) could even draw the first page.  I still liked the concept, though, and I have yet to do a horror style image, so here it is.  Comments are encouraged, especially since this is my first foray into horror.  

One thing I am aware of is the absence of any shadows created by the figures in the image.  This was just because I rendered each detail as a seperate layer and patched them together in photoshop and I couldn't quite get the shadows to work right.  I did try to arrange them in a way that keeps you from noticing unless you're looking really closely, though

Very cool, starkiller. Finally a zombie comic I would actually read! Too bad about that guy's gf though. I bet she would have loved it.
