Speedball has always been one of my favorite Ditko creations. He was one of the founding members of the New Warriors and one of the few Marvel characters with a sense of humor equal to Spiderman. That is until Marvel decided to make the New Warriors the catalyst for the Civil War series and made Speedball the new grim hero Penance.
