STORY: La Mariposa Carmalita Santos lived a life of relative luxury, until her father's ranch was seized by the local Don. Her parents were murdered and young Carmalita was beaten, ravaged, and left for dead. That was the bandits' last mistake. The young woman found her father's prized shotgun and entered entered the small Arizona town. The papers reported it as the massacre of Sierra Vista. Fourteen men including the sheriff and two deputies paid for their crimes in blood. Carmalita then fled across the Mexican border to the town of Corral de Enmedio. With few options, Carmalita entered the trade of bounty hunter. Called La Mariposa, the butterfly, Carmalita carved a trail of blood across two borders.
