Carl Kolchak. Intrepid reporter. The X-Files and Supernatural owe so much to Kolchak for blazing the way that it's not even funny.

As far as I know, this is the first Kolchak 3d rendering on the net. So, not only is this the first, as of now, this is the BEST 3D RENDER OF KOLCHAK ON THE ENTIRE INTERNET!

I loved this show as a kid. And since I never really grew-up, I still love it. I've got the entire series on dvd (including the two tele-movies), and have been watching them recently.

Which led to me thinking (always a dangerous thing!) that I could do a 3d Kolchak. Afterall, it's a suit, a hat, and some facial morphs. Easy!

Yeah, right!

Thats so weird that you thought the same thing.
"Night at the Museum" gone terribly wrong!!!

This is a great image BB3. I really like it. Great depth of field.

Thank you. Creating a character like Kolchak is way harder than creating a comicbook character. Mainly due to the fact that Kolchak has to look like Darren McGavin... and finding really high quality images of him on the internet is damned near impossible!
