Much Better and more towards the realistic aspect. and would be a good example of updating an image the proper way.

I used to do that early on when I first started manipping. I may start doing it again because coloring the flesh is a pain in the !

I have to agree with JR. This is one of your Best.

there is still work that could be done around the edges to help it out more.

I have noticed in a lot of your work,it looks like you turn the base image to a grey scale then color it flesh tone? If this is the case, Have you tried working with the image in it's UN-altered state to preserve the detail of the model?
