 Re: JMonteiro?s Inluence Map Thank you, all. Yeah, I?m a sci-fi nerd through and through, and I?ll do my damnest to wipe the sour taste left by some recent movies we?ve had the displeasure to watch! For that matter, of course I had to put up what Dreamcatcher and B call the proper Star Wars. Not because I think the Prequel-trilogy is huge pile of bantha dung (which it is, btw), but because it had such a profound impact on me that pratically every sci-fi work I do as a degree of it?s influence. One of the very first movies I can recall (fondly...) is Return of the Jedi! I?ve seen and recreated that final battle som many times I can?t watch it anymore! However, there are some positive things to say about uncle George and Mickey B?s trashing of my childhood icons. Not only I got a couple of good laughs of them (at my expense, but what are you going to do...) but Ithey have also inspired me yet again! They inspired me to do a much better job, and if you indulge me, I?ll try to entertain you with it! As for the cover flip challenge, I?ll get it up and running ASAP! Again, thank you for welcoming me to this site! I?ll be around whenever I can! Count with that! ?  |

Re: JMonteiro?s Inluence Map Yay! Welcome to HeroMorph! Always good to have fresh meat, erm, new friends. And your very first move is to preemptively stop Pij from bugging you about an influence map. Clever. Nice influence map here. Some great SF choices -- Star Wars (the PROPER Star Wars, as daswook said), GiTS and Evangelion (which would be on my anime influence list, if I made one). Great work.  |
