Whoa. Great cover; I love the background and the composition -- very eye-catching and badass. I'll second Pij's comment about the bowstring. The hair also doesn't really work for me -- the very thick brushstrokes and the fact that it isn't inked like the rest of the character make it stick out a bit too much, imo. Still a fantastic piece overall.

This is actually the cover for the second of a three-chapter introduction to a huge sci-fi storyline I?ve been making like forever! Because i never find the time to properly start it, I did a short story (if 52 pages, drawn all the eay through 2011 to 2012, can be considered short!) called "The Protector of Faith" and had it posted at my little corner at the Quadradinhos Ink blog ( http://quadradinhosbd.blogspot.com/2011/05/protector-da-fe-pagina-1.html). Thing is, it?s all in portuguese!
I?ve already talked to OCP so he can help me post it here as soon as I translate it, so you can expect that soon!

I?m not related to Eduardo Monteiro (plenty of Monteiro?s out there) but he?s got his own little corner at Quadradinhos Ink as well, and I know his work, which is awesome.

Although the bowstring on the right side of the image doesn't quite line up correctly, this is a very strong cover! Well done! The fierce and defiant character and that menacing large and well armored enemy shadow on the water really command attention.
BTW, you wouldn't be any relation to Eduardo Monteiro, would you?
