Cool! Great looking character! Good pose and composition too. Yeah, the smoke's a bit better here for sure. I really like your costume texture too although some of those lines look just a little jiggy-jaggy... you'll find if you keep your textures at least as high a resolution as the image itself, that can be eliminated.

I'd probably still make it whiter but it definitely looks a lot better.
