Re: Il dragone della foresta I like to watch the progression of talent on the Heromorph site. It shows how much people can improve their work both through continuing to practice, and through comments and suggestions of the greats that have displayed their works here for like...forever. I also like it when people are recognized for their improvements.
But I LOVE this. Gentle posing of Strong characters. Subtle lighting well suited to the mood. Excellent choice of background, as B said, to compliment the details you put into the forest bits. Awesome texturing on everything, as the others pointed out, too. And an outstanding choice of colors, too. The whole piece is a a clever mix of yellows and greens set against a complimentary blue background. The lass wouldn't be as comfortable in this scene were she brunette, nor the dragon if he weren't forest-type. Even his eyes and yellowed underbelly and claws work beautifully with the gal's golden locks and yellow highlights of the leaves.
Outstanding work!

Re: Il dragone della foresta Agreed, this is one of your best. Very strong design, textures and composition. And there's a proper background! This seriously shows how having a good background improves an image. Having an actual environment rather than merely a wall is one of the things that makes this a distinct improvement on a lot of your superhero work.
