wow! First of all..nice to see u webby! I must say that initially i was impressed with the subtle Superman redesign but after reading the revamped-reflipped origin..i was really blown away. Its stuff like this that really makes voting a bitch!

This is great! Really love the way you've flipped the script on ol' Supes! The Earthling as the superpowered alien on Krypton as the revolutionary rather than the authoritarian... and Latino even! Very cool restyling too (goatee is a nice touch)! Excellent job!

Earth 2142. Carlos Santiago is a leading research scientist at GlobalCOM. His main research involves matter transportation via laser light breakdown and transfer. His wife Gloria is also works for GlobalCOM in environmental research, the two have a newborn baby, Kent Santiago.

During her research Gloria recently discovers that the Earths Core is slowly expanding and that unless something is done it will be a matter of 2 years before the Earth will literally split n half. When bringing this to the attention of GlobalCom she is dismissed as being a "Crackpot" and not having any true solid data to back up her claim. GlobalCOM grants her a leave of absence.

Carlos continues his work frantically trying to establish a gateway across the solar system to another world. Krypton. Krypton was identified in 2100 as a possible "dual" earth, but there was no means to communicate or travel there. It fast became an "urban legend" and the basis of many tabloid stories and myths. While its existence was acknowledged by the scientific community it was still mostly an unknown.

After working with Gloria at his side Carlos does manage to build the bridge - the setback - he can only transport an item about 27 KG and the bridge will only accept organic material. The reconstruct will not work any other materials.

Meanwhile the earth's weather becomes increasingly worse, with earthquakes and other natural disasters occurring, he feels he has no choice but to send their son, now 16 months old.

Leaving the only clue they could they had imprinted on Kent's left shoulder the family crest. the Letter S. They prepared the Transport by breaking into a restricted area of GlobalCOM and tapped into a Fusion energy source for the bridge. They administered sleeping gas to Kent, putting him to sleep for the trip. Kissing their son goodbye they activated the bridge and sent him towards Krypton. The power overloaded the fusion Reactor and the wing of GlobalCom was destroyed with the Santiago's in it.


Ji’NI and Ma’KR Kurn were tera farmers in the outer rim just outside the Kanos City.
They noticed smoke rising from the field. Hopping in a hover-cart they went out to investigate. In the center of the hole was Kent, naked and crying. They approached the toddler carefully and wrapped it in a blanket. The two decided to keep the baby a secret as their application to have any children was denied by the Government. They rarely had visitors except a visit from the Government Inspector every 6 months.
Then named him JiNos.

JiNos grew up as a Kryptonian. He fit in for the most part except for his blue eyes which was extremely rare. As he became older bits and pieces of this powers began to develop - particularly strength and speed. Ji”NI and Ma’KR were able to forge documentation for JiNos in the event he would ever need flee home.

One day the Krypton Day Guard performed a raid on the farm. They had reports that the couple were behind a Freedom Group. Which in fact they were. They had been under the guise of the terra-farming using it to rally others with education and preparing for setting the Kryptoinians free from the harsh rule of the planet’s government. JiNos was as also aware of this movement. He was 16 years old when this occurred. He watched in horror as his adoptive parents were gunned down and the farm was burned. He had managed to escape by his super speed and sat on the top of the mountain in the distance watching the smoke rise into the red sun.

He returned to the smoldering farm at night to find in the aftermath his mother’s journal about his life and how he had come to them. Stunned he left.

He became determined to avenge their deaths and to bring the Freedom Group meaning by combating the government that had taken everything from them.

Her journal included resources and his fake ID. He began to travel the planet and train and develop his powers as they came to him with age. He had built himself a home in the Never Region - he was the only one who could gain access to it.


Creating a persona he constructed the suit with the only trace he had left of his original roots.. the Symbol burned on his arm. Armed with Super Strength and speed he continues to fight the Corrupt Kryptonian Government.
