For those of you who have yet to see DC's JLA:WAR it's Dc's first animated film featuring the New52 characters. I thought the movie was decent but it took a moment to get used to the new personas and designs. I was looking forward to seeing them in action especially the 52 Wonder Woman. Imagine my surprise when she appeared in a totally revamped version of her New52 design. I'll admit as hot as the comic version is, I liked the one in the movie. Which only made me wonder ...why change it for the movie? Was it because of the negative press DC has received for the New52 WW costume? If so then does this mean she'll be adopting the revamped version for the comics? At any rate I loved the hell out of it and thought I'd make my own version and ask your opinion. Which do you like best?
It's a pretty cool costume (and a great job at portraying both BTW) however I think when it comes to one of DC's biggest and most iconic characters, costume changes are best doled out in small changes rather than radical ones as even the regular 52 one on the right was a dialed back re-design after the fan backlash over the original revision. Personally, I prefer the newer costumes which pay more attention to the character's history than a major overhaul as well. Cool redesign but still, the one on the right for me.
I saw the movie and like you I was like huh? I was curious as to the turtleneck, and the high boots and gloves. But then I'm the guy who thought she should be wearing roman-ish armor with a skirt.Like this:
