Celebrating a few of the most horrible, yet classic "films" ever...
Here's a quick tribute to Melvin Junko/Ferd: The Toxic Avenger.
And also to a few of the actors who appeared in the flicks.  More in the comments...

Wow, you rendered this all at once??!! Clearly your computer has been troma-tized by the experience! Although I am not such a huge fan of Toxie, I've seen a couple and they were fun enough but your epic large cast images are always a special treat! Great job on everybody and the image as whole! Really enjoyed the accompanying text about cast and characters too.

 Re: Toxic
I'm flattered, but I actually use quite a bit of Stonemason's stuff for scenery. This particular set is Dark Places: the Back Alley. I've used it a few times in some other works. I forgot to put it in the credits in this one...my bad, Stoney...

The only things I actually modeled for this one was part of the mop head, and Toxie's face. (I made a bumpy mask prop)

Usually I do try to make anything I need for whatever scene I'm working on...but this one was more for the characters.

Speaking of...the rumors across the web are of a Toxic Avenger re-make with Arnold Schwarzenegger, and John Travolta as some of the stars...but I dunno how true those are.

 Re: Toxic
Unfortunately "Toxic Avenger" was one of those movie series I just let pass me by. Tried to watch it several times but always got distracted. I know it's a cult classic now but I doubt I'll ever re-visit it. However after seeing this inspiring piece of artwork of yours [very high quality as usual I might add], I wish I had paid more attention.
On another note; I've always and continue to be amazed at your work, in particular your modeling, and I have yet to see you use any ready made models [even scenery] am I correct?

 Re: Toxic
Starting with the dude in the black/white and red face...and matching outfit...
Patrick Kilpatrick (From such films as Under Siege 2, Eraser, and Death Warrant...as well as TV shows like CSI: Miami, Chuck, X-files and Cold Case, to name a few.
Seriously, I think he's been in more stuff than Samuel Jackson...) here he is in his worst...I mean "first" ever film as "Leroy" in The Toxic Avenger.

Next to him in the suit and tie is Rick Collins, who had bit parts on The Sopranos and E.R. as the "Apocalypse, Inc. Chairman" in The Toxic Avenger parts 2 & 3.
Beside him is one of his Henchwomen: Helen Wheels, Female bodybuilder and Punk/Rock band leader of various groups including the Helen Wheels Band and The Skeleton Crew. Seen here as "Bad Girl" from Toxie parts 2 & 3.
Beside them, with the unique facial features is Shunsaku Nakayama as "Shark Skin Man" from Toxie part 2.
Moving around to Melvin's left, in the Kimono is Maya Shiraki, the "Chain Sickle Girl" from part 2.
The duo of diaper-clad dorks are: Trent Haaga, from such masterpieces as Megascorpions, Zombiegeddon, Jesicka Rabid, Killjoy Goes to Hell and Blood Shed, Here seen as "Tex Diaper," and
Bella Compagna, from none other than the Oscar Winning "Vampire Vixens from Venus" (I'm joking) as the "Diaper Mafia Temptress"...
both from "Citizen Toxie" (part 4)

Mid screen:
As you know, or don't if you haven't seen the films, the characters change names from time to time, without reason.
That said...on the ground at Melvin's left is Andree Maranda, never seen in anything ever again...as "Sara, the Toxie's blind, blond girlfriend" from the original Toxic Avenger.
To Mel's right, is Phoebe Legere, who was in 1998's Sin City SPectacular TV series, and the Naked Brothers Band: the Movie, here as "Claire, Toxie's blind, blond girlfriend" in parts 2 & 3.
(Toxie's gal was recast yet again in part 4, played by Heidi Sjursen in dual roles as Claire AND Sarah (yep, different spelling),
the good and evil versions of the Toxic Avenger/Noxious Offender's girfriends.)
And The Toxic Avenger himself was played by Mitchell Cohen in The Toxic Avenger, John Altamura in part 2 & 3, Ron Fazio in part 2 & 3, and David Mattey in part 4
In the Back on the steps is Pat Ryan, from such movie greats as Mannequin, Invasion U.S.A. and Forever, Lulu...Seen here in his role as "Mayor Peter Belgoody," shortly after Toxie punches hi guts out in part 1.

Now, for some fun facts...
In the way back are two folks you might know.
Marissa Tomei, yes THAT Marrisa Tomei, as "uncredited girl in towel" - The Toxic Avenger
Corey Feldman as "Kinky Finklestein, Sarah's gynecolgist" - part 4
In the front with the nunchaku, is Michael Jai White (Spawn) "Apocalypse Inc. Executive" - part 2 & 3
As a kicker, but not pictured, were Hugh Hefner played the President of the US; Hank, the Angry Dwarf played God, and Stan Lee narrated the fourth flick.
The black, red white and blue ninja is an unknown actor from Toxie: part 2.
The random dead people are just that, random dead people with no particular ties to any of the films...but I figured any Troma Tribute needed a little gore.

All are a variety of Daz peoples, with mostly basic outfits that I modified in Photoshop.
I tested the limits of my computer with this one, by not rendering each character separate...yep, it took 26 hours, but the whole scene was rendered in one shot. Then touched up with Photoshop.
Thanks for lookin', and reading this far if you actually did...'cuz I'm bettin most people didn't since there are no bare boobs...
