Re: An Enchanting Evening with the Avengers Quote: Wow! now that you've elaborated on how much work you put into this I feel like a heel for nitpicking . While I figured that you did Hawkeyes straps and quiver..the rest of your efforts never crossed my mind. And yes I was speaking of the area on Cap's shirt where blue meets stripes. [just looks a bit weird coming to points like that] Please don't feel like a heel! I count on you to be a nitpicker with me, bro! You're like the nagging voice of my conscience Usually by the end, I'm getting a little worn down and telling myself I needn't bother with this or that but many times, it was your pointing out those very things I was blowing off that convinced me to go back and fix them. I've never once regretted the advice and generally thought it improved my work when I followed your suggestions. Seeing as how all your nits here were things I was actually already looking at myself, I'd say your critique was more than fair, I'd say it was pretty much spot on. Like Cap's shirt... you know, it bothered me but I was kinda rationalizing it away as just stylized but I'm glad you brought it up, you were right. Should be fixed (and was). Thanks again.

Bear in mind I built not just IM armor but also Hawkeye's top, bracers, harness, quiver (with strap), arrows, armbands, Enchantress' headpiece, belt and dress, Cap's bootcuffs, star, belt and candybox, Wasp's red jumper, ear covers and pointy cap, Thor's helmet and the drinks. I could easily spend a month just working out a decent set of armor and this was done in it's entirety in about 2 weeks. Yeah, I had my share of misgivings about Amora's look and expression too. Ultimately, I just went with pretty and hot I had tried giving her that sly wicked grin but but it wasn't working out as intended so I dialed back back her expression a bit and yeah, admittedly a bit young... as I was doing this, I was actually thinking while the character wasn't quite right for Enchantress, she's damn near perfect for Dagger (of Cloak and Dagger). Wasp's wings are blurred. Additional blurring did not look as good which is why the current setting. I'm a little unclear what needs to be photoshopped on Cap (where stripes meet blue?). Thanks for the high rating in spite of my shortcomings. Wow! now that you've elaborated on how much work you put into this I feel like a heel for nitpicking . Re: An Enchanting Evening with the Avengers ha ha. Pretty cool. If i'm not mistaken this actually happened [maybe not with these exact characters]but I could be wrong.I think I love the soft lighting most of all. Seems appropriate for a theme such as this. All of the characters look great. and most the the comments made previous I echo. Just what is Antman after? Hmmmm I do have a coupla nits... First. I know judging by the costumes that this is set from a different time period, but Tony's armor looks too blocky and resembles armor padding more than a suit. I know that Zeikos's Ironman armor is too modern for this time period so I understand why you chose not to use it [I think Rattler's Ironman armor would have been a perfect choice]. Second. And this is just my opinion. Enchantress while very fetching looks a tad too young [almost teenaged] Ive always seen her portrayed as a sophisticated femme fatale with years of experience. A sly wicked grin probally would have made this a non issue though. Third. A little photoshop on Cap's shirt and a blur applied to Wasp's wings as well [she is in flight after all]. None of these distract or lessen the sheer originality and great concept not to mention some pretty darn good render work. Definately 10 worthy.

Re: An Enchanting Evening with the Avengers Quote: MB wrote: Very Nice, 1st question, the boot textures?, created by you or available for download somewhere?.... First, thank you for giving me that much credit, DW but no. I've long understood the basics of building shaders from scratch but I've always found building good complex shaders a bit confounding in D/S. Enchantress' black part of her legs done with Cloth FX shaders (black latex) and the gold rings with Fast Metal shaders (shiny gold). Both were freebies I got long ago... probably from sharecg. Quote: MB wrote: 2nd question is Thor about to join the fun? 3rd question what is Wasp doing there; did she get enchanted also?... Quote: DW wrote: Wasp is actually showing Thor what is going on and he is about to break up the party :) DW got it exactly as I'd intended (well done!) although I'd purposefully left Thor's expression blank so this could read different ways like Thor being under her spell as well. My thought was that Thor being an Asgardian God and all, was more immune to her charms and Wasp, not happy about her husband, doing exactly as DW suggested. Quote: Drunken Dragon wrote: HA! Awesome! I love the little stuff, like Cap's shield themed candy box, Ant man scoping out the hills for his matchbox cars (Metaphorically of course), and the only other babe in the room expressing her displeasure at another getting all the attention...
Well played!
...and thank you muchly, DrunkenDragon for picking up on the details and expressing it so colorfully! ...and thank you too, Dack! Glad you got a kick out of it!

Re: An Enchanting Evening with the Avengers 1. Textures more than likely created by Him. I did the same with my Enchantress.
2 & 3. Wasp is actually showing Thor what is going on and he is about to break up the party :)
