Re: Kamandi Thanks very much DragonDack, Ms. Vee, DrunkenDragon and Star! You are correct, Star. Kamandi did wear raggedy cutoff shorts that showed considerably more thigh but I updated his style a bit from those 70's style shorts. In fact, most of Kirby's animal characters weren't quite so fashionable either in the comic. Although it certainly is an homage, I wasn't terribly faithful to Kirby's style or stories, just having fun with the basic idea. Mostly just a fun little excercise about using "funny animal" type characters as a change of pace. Oh yeah... couple more things... credit to Blambot, whose fonts were used here and also may I direct your attention to the cow's dyslexic PETA shirt...

Re: Kamandi when i heard you were doing Kamandi i didnt know quite what to expect since he was one of those offbeat characters that you truly had to find something about to read. sure the Kirby art was great but the stories were out there..wayyy out there. Good to see you had that thought in this. perhaps a little subdued but a true homage to the character. Great work! BTW. didnt Kamandi wear shorts?

Re: Kamandi Models: Genesis used for Cow, Turtle, Rhino and Kamandi. Papa and Baby Bear from the 3 Bears, Lycanthropos and Star Fox Krystal
Cow wearing Fashion V4, Turtle wearing Kids 4 basic Tee and M4 Hardcore Pants, Fox with Raiver belt, Rhino wearing Working Man 1930's and Kamandi has Mr. Hyde monster pants and medeivel boots. I made the stage, cage, Rhino's cigar, Cow's horns and earrings and Carnival Barker outfit for Lycanthropos.
