I don't know how vintage it looks but there's definitely a steampunk cool to it. I think the elements come together pretty well here (though I agree with Star that her head gets a little lost in the clouds). Well done.

i agree that the background sky should perhaps be lighter. her head kinda gets lost in it. but otherwise this is sexy. I would try the sepia tone as well.

The idea is good, there are a few things I would change. For a vintage aged image, I think the purple sky is too over powering. I think it should be dulled a lot. I would bring up the lighting on her face a little. When I think vintage aged image, I think sepia tones. That could be a possiblity to look at. Over all it is not bad.
