Y'know, they could add the lord of the jungle to the Monsterverse.

Edgar Rice Burroughs wrote stories set in the subterranean world of Pellucidar. Which Tarzan himself had an adventure in.

Therefore it would not take a stretch to have the Hollow Earth and Pellucidar be one and the same.
