Great job, but I've gotta agree: Until recently it's been really, really hard to tell what ethnicity Thunder is...her father is Black Lighting I think, but we've never seen her mother...and in the first issue of Outsiders she sure looks white...

But now, thanks to Dan Jurgens, we finally know she's black. Thank you Mr. Jurgens for that. And a hot Starfire.

But again, great job Winterhawk!

Hey baddog.
I do not read the comic the outsiders.
the only reference pictures i had for the character was that of a cover scan that i got off of the internet that had the group of the outsiders standing on some stairs all together. the picture was small. I do not know anything about this character at all. I was not even sure of her name. From the picture i had, i thought she was a white blonde girl. If i had known this was not the case, i would have made a different choice for the model that i used.
Thanks for the info, now i know.

Excellent work.

only one question/criticism (and please keep in mind it comes from a true fan of your work)

wit so few women of color represented in comics why use a caucasian model?

Great pic Winterhawk! Your line work is very good, and like the others said that lightning is awesome.

That is pretty damn sweet, Winterhawk. Nice Crisp lines, good, even shading on the body suit, and the lightning looks cool. Sweet!
