 Re: Fairchild Actually, come to think of it, I do agree with Hisstoryman on the black background. I think that, assuming I'm not going to use a background, I'd prefer to go with plain black over white for one reason alone. White would accentuate any flaws that may be there whereas black helps to hide them by blending the image into the background. In retrospect on this particular piece, though, I kinda wish I'd shaded her face, hair, and legs a little more to match the costume, but that's just something I can file away as "lesson learned".

Re: Fairchild In the situation where the costume has a lot of shadows on it, I would have chosen a white background... and trust me... I know all too well about not putting a background on an image.  Good job on the costume and nice casting! |
